CENTRE FLOW SCREEN: Perforated Plate Band Screen With Inside/Out Flow FRS-CF
The Centre Flow screen is designed to stop debris from carrying over to the downstream side. Wastewater enters the centre of the screen frame and is filtered as it passes from the inside to the outside through both faces of the perforated filter panels. All screening and discharge occur within the screen frame assembly. The screen panels and side seals are engineered to prevent bypass. Independent, verified testing confirms the FSM Centre Flow screen achieves an 84% capture rate with 6 mm perforated openings.
This screen was originally used as a water intake screen. With the growth of MBRs and the demand for high capture efficiency, it became the right choice for these applications. Debris collected on the inner face of the panels is directed into a trough and discharged into containers, conveyors, flumes, or a high-performance FSM washer-compactor.
